Moruya and Tuross Rivers

Graham and Mark launched last Sunday from Steel Bridge and headed
upstream to cash in on the nice catches of Bream from the previous
week. Unfortunately, there was alot of casting for a few
fish!
Graham landed an extremely nice Estuary Perch (see picture) on
Berkley Gulp 2" Banana Prawn, with a couple of small Bream
inbetween.
Team Gone Fishin member Nathan also headed upstream with few
rewards, as with Evan who headed downstream with no luck!!
Unfortunately, due to the heavy winds we have not been able to
get back on the water this week, but look forward to some good
fishing in the week ahead.
Offshore
Once again, the winds have worked their magic and slowed the
outside action down as well, with the water temperature dropping a
couple of degrees. You will find a few Flathead, but they
have quietened down, along with the Snapper and Mowies.
Some reports have been sent in of nice catches of School Sharks
straight off Moruya Heads and around the Durras area.
On another note, the Basin Lure and Fly Anglers Inc are running
the Southern Bream Series out of the Clyde on Sunday, 20
September. This is a catch and release comp with Kayaking and
Boating sections runs separate. Jump in store for an entry
form!
Keep an eye out for our Father's Day Sale commencing on
Wednesday!!
Good fishing!
