--Hey Guys - hope all is well with everyone and you have a
wonderful Easter break. Be sure to be careful when
travelling!
Moruya River
Team Tackle World member Nathan enjoyed some nice catches of
bream and whiting in the back waters of the river on freshly pumped
nippers. Flathead and trevally have been caught inside the
"spur wall" on fresh beach worms. Good numbers of Luderick
are also being pulled in off the rockwalls along river road on
greenweed.
The breakwall is still firing with good catches of salmon and
tailor on ganged pillies or metal slices. Head to the end of
the wall to be rewarded with nice catches of bream taking aliking
to beach worms.
Tuross
The whiting and flathead are still on the chew down the front of
the system on both soft plastics and fresh bait - try Dynabait
dehydrated sand worms and blood worms for some great success
also.
Poppers are still working well on the flats for both whiting and
bream. If you want to have some fun, head for the "racks" and
chuck some Cultiva Mirashad 50mm around and hang on tight!
Beaches and Rocks
Nathan once again had a good session off the rocks at South Head
on bream up to 2.2 kg in size - well done Nathan! Congo
headland is also fishing well for the bream - try some fresh red
rock crabs for best results.
Most beaches both up and down the coastline are still fishing
well for whiting, bream, salmon, tailor and sharks of an
evening.
Offshore
Captain Ron onboard Winda Whopper reports good catches of
snapper, mowies, flathead, gummy sharks and hammerheads all
off squid. Team Tackkle World member John also had some good
sessions on the flatties off Congo this past week.
We would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Easter!
Drop in store for a bargain over the holiday break and enjoy some
really good savings out of our Easter Catalogue.
... and remember "every days a good day for fishing"!
