Hey Guys - I hope everyone has had an enjoyable week and looking
forward to a nice weekend on the water. What's been happening
this week ...
Moruya River
Good catches of bream are being had opposite preddies wharf on
both chicken and mullet gut on the weed beds. Tailor and
salmon are schooling up in the deeper water around the "hole in the
wall" area - best bet metal slices.
Rocks and Beaches
Team Tackle World member Nathan has been getting really good
size salmon opposite Goulburn workers on Arma Anchovy metal
slices.
Good catches of drummer, bream and rock luderick are being had
off the rocks, with salmon and tailor thrown in as well.
Offshore
Captain Ron onboard Winda Woppa has enjoyed good catches of
seven-gill sharks and gummies in 35 m of water with a few snapper
and pigfish amongst them. Bigger snapper and mowies are out
in the 50 m mark. The water temperature is 18 degrees celcius
at the moment with a strong northerly current running, so a sea
anchor is needed to slow your craft down.
Team Tackle World member Craig also headed out off Potato Point
and Coila and enjoyed nice catches of flathead around the 65 cm
mark, as well as nice snapper and mowies - all fish were
caught on soft plastics close to the shore.
