Hope everyone has survived the sudden "downpour" on the eastern
seaboard of NSW this week! Unfortunately, it hasn't done us
any favours for fishing. Here goes for this weeks report
anyway.
Moruya and Tuross Rivers
Both systems swelled with the rain the area received leading to
many road closures, etc. The fishing has been put on "hold"
at the moment, unless you want to venture out to Moruya's Breakwall
where despite the water looking like "pea soup" the boys are
cleaning up on good catches of salmon and bream. Some good
reports of flathead and bream have also been reported when fishing
the incoming tide inside the spur wall.
Offshore
Captain Ron onboard Winda Woppa I and II reports (prior to the
rain) good catches of snapper, mowies and pigfish, along with
patches of flathead all in 50 metres of water. The sea
temperature is currently sitting at 21.5 degrees celcius, and Ron
would like to warn people of the debris that is currently heading
down Moruya River and also within the "Bar" area - please be
careful if heading out this weekend.
BACK IN STOCK!! Big Eye Blade twin packs and keep an eye out for
our "you beaut" ice boxes due in store any day now!
Remember "every day's a good day for fishing ... "
Have a great week everyone!
