Hey Guys - hope everyone has had an enjoyable week. The
weather is warming up now and with temps expected around the mid
20's, hopefully Spring will stay "sprung"!
Moruya and Tuross
Moruya is still producing some lovely catches of flathead and
team Tackle World member Mark enjoyed a great catch and release
session on the estuary perch around the snags the other day using
squidgy wrigglers in bloodworm.
Tuross has slowed a little, but the fish are still there.
With the warmer temps predicted hopefully the system will return to
normal.
Beaches and Rocks
Salmon and tailor are still being brought in off the beaches on
both ganged pillies and arma twisty lures.
Offshore
Captain Ron onboard Winda Woppa I and II reports good
catches of snapper, large mowies, some good size nannygai and
flathead around the 30-40 metre mark as well as some 7-gill
sharks. It is necessary to do a fair bit of moving around, as
the water temperature is varying between 14-17 degrees celcius,
depending on where you are.
Come in store and share a cuppa and a chat and remember
"everyday's a good day for fishing ... "
